Seven Limits of Ducks

Postby Tim Sallee » Sun Oct 27, 2013 10:09 pm

We were blessed to have a successful duck hunt back a couple of seasons ago while filming for a CWA http://www.thecwa.org DVD project. We set up in the field behind this shop building. It was a winter wheat field with a ditch row in the middle. We were able to hide our lay out blinds in the ditch row. The man on the left farmed this land and invited the Livin' Loud Outdoors Crew over to hunt. Livin' Loud then invited us over to film this hunt for our DVD and video projects. This was a couple of weekends before I traveled back over to hunt Canada Geese.

Also, do you have any pics of 5-8 man spoony limits? We are really into shooting spoonies around here.

Ha! No, but it would not be that hard to get that many. They are some of the easiest ducks to decoy. :D

Easiest to get, but you don't have any pics? Ok, I see. I got a unicorn in my basement, sorry no pics though.

Just giving you a bad time, would love to see a 7 man spoony limit though.

Whenever we started filming for our DVD and for CWA video footage we were experiencing drought. It reach 116 degrees a couple of summers ago and we were in need of rain and water. I prayed about having successful hunts and we were blessed to find the birds every time we scouted and filmed. For the next two seasons I witnessed thousands of ducks and geese and we were able to film all of those hunts.

Thanks TK, but don't waste your time praying for me. Driving the bus to hell, if you can help out with the ducks though that would be great! Thanks buddy!
