Rocket Nets!

That's pretty cool how they net them.

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” ― Samuel Adams

I'd start hyperventilating and launch the net when we were still 208 yards away.

Don't worry bud, I've never killed one either. But I do believe my 20 bucks is safe.

Not when catch them by hand, they can bite hard. Same thing with comorants. A big flock of feeding comorants over a gill net results in some tore up hands. Those fuckers draw blood even with gloves on.

I've caught a goose and multiple ducks by hand. All were calm and just hung out, allegedly.

The ducks I have caught are calm for the most part. Geese, coots and comorants aren't atleast the ones I've caught.

I've never caught a live cormorant. They seem to all die unexpectedly when they fly by.

I would go through a case of shells a day if I was doing that. They are literally everywhere down here.

I've actually never shot one. Others with me may or may not shoot them. The day they say I can hunt them I will be out there hammering them.

I do a number on them every year with gill nets. Around 2000 a year probably. They dive down and get tangled up in them and drown. Every once in a while I get a few live ones. Get quite a few ruddy ducks too. I've watched guys going down the river and stop to look at all the dead comorants floating down the river.
