Military pay

Thank you to all the service members past and present whether it be military, police, fire, or other.

Military pay

Postby Olly » Sat Sep 21, 2013 2:12 pm

Obama is rattling the cage saying that if republicans don't raise the debt ceiling that military pay will be put on hold. He never mentions any of the entitlement plans our country has.

No shit. Let's freeze food stamps and cash assistance, and see how that plays. I'm just so sick and tired of the "fair share" bullshit. I mean, really tired of it.

Obama doesn't need a military. The world stops in awe of his power, and only republicans start wars...

With the modern military force made of mostly young members I'd be willing to bet that if military pay was held for more than a few months you'd see the largest exodus from the military ever.

There not gonna stop paying the military folks. Every time we have budget government shutdown fights, this topic comes up to help push agendas.

No shit. It's like when they want more tax money locally, they alwyas threaten to release all the mentals, convicts and starve out the retired if the tax bill doesn't pass. Funny thing is we vote the increase out and everything keeps going down the road, like always.
How about this, why don't we quit paying those fuckwads in congress and the white house and, take all their perk money and benefits to throw at the budget problems unless they balance the budget.

Out of respect for our military, maybe this thread belongs in the Political/Controversial Issues Forum.

I wondered why Olly posted it here but it works for future potential pay topics. And there will always be more of those.

TK, they spent it all quite some time ago. Right now, they are spending beyond "it all".

The only thing saving you was you capitalized "Ranger", too many buddies served to that duty and they deserve that recognition. Thanks FF!

I know what you meant, but it goes for all those that serve or served. Infantry, Calvary, Airborne, Rangers, etc...

You included.
