10 years

Postby 3geese4me » Mon Sep 23, 2013 4:00 am

Today marks my 10th year in the world's greatest Air Force. Halfway to retirement and most importantly halfway to freedom. I've had some lows and I've had some highs. Been shot at, bombed, blown up and to be honest I would not have it any other way. So here's to another glorious 10 years and let's pray and hope that it goes by just as fast as the first 10 years have gone.

Congrats man!

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” ― Samuel Adams

I sometimes wish I would have stayed for 20 or more but 4 years, 5 months and 27 days was all I could stand at the time. When war is over, the military gets pretty chickenshit. I admire your dedication and wish you good luck and good fortune for your next 10 years of fun, travel and adventure.
