Seaduck hunt

Postby Baysider » Thu Jan 16, 2014 10:30 am

Heres a little clip of our recent hunt. More to come but it needs to be edited due to all the "shop" language, hence the stupid music no one ever likes. We killed surfs and white wings along with a handful of old squaw. The clip shows a nice group of white wings coming into the long lines.

I was able to dupe everyone into thinking I had some duck whispering abilities, and parlayed that into Olly giving me mod powers in the diver forum and from there to global mod status and from here world domination.

We typically hunt them out of my 22ft mako with the decoy lines tied to the bow and stern. The flOck in the video was at least a mile away when I stood up, waved my hat in the air, and then turned and came right in. Not the smartest bird. Our best hunting has been out of a 50' dead rise because they are used to seeing the workboats.

I'd love to hunt out of one of those. That'd be the shit. You could just kick back on some comfortable lawn chairs, with all that room.

State is 2, federal 2-10, then international? Although I may not know what the hell I'm talking about.

Territorial waters is 12, contiguous is 24 and EEZ is out to 200. The US controls natural resources in the EEZ.
