Near the end of the worst season in the past six years you still gotta put in a appearance, but not necessarily a great effort. Went out this afternoon to shoot a few red heads but we knew it would be slow so we took some stuff to the blind with us. We did shoot a couple of redheads and a widgeon for what amounted to .5 birds per hunter but we actually had a pretty good time. Good thing we had the foresight to put a cocktail table in the blind when we designed and built it. I had to drive the boat and truck home because some of us had too good a time.








When you know hunting is going to be crappy you probably shouldn't take things too seriously.
