Felt sick last night and woke up with a really sore throat this morning and decided to go back to bed, didn't want to be sick for the trip to the UP. Felt better this afternoon, so my dad and I went out for an evening hunt. We don't usually go out at night and tonight showed why. Only saw 3 ducks before LST ended, brought home 1 wood duck, but unlike most woodies it decoyed perfectly. We actually didn't even see it before it had already landed. It was on my side so I stood up and shouted, "hey" to scare it off the water and took 1 shot. Afterwards I looked at my dad and said, "the upside is everyone in ear shot thinks I just yelled at a guy and then shot him."

We did have 4 groups come in while picking up, which for us seems to be the norm in the afternoon.
