Duck hunting, but i guess turkey will have to do for now .
Going to take the boy out tomorrow after some turkeys .

No disrespect. I have turkey hunted most of my life ,I have guided 18 years in the spring and 5 years in the fall . This is the first year I have not guided, because I want to hunt more with my kids .

Them's nice birds. Been trying for 3 years now to get one. Can't hunt them in the fall, which is when we see most of them, and the don't really hang around where I can hunt then in the spring.

Come over in the spring I can get you on a bird . I enjoy turkey more then duck or goose .
I have over 100,000 acres to hunt in 5 counties Full of turkeys .

Ohio now has a Fall season? Last time I was up and out in the Wayne grouse hunting (maybe 10 years ago?), we were tripping over turkeys where they were still scarce when I lived there, so it would be no surprise.

About half the state has a fall turkey now, it was only a select few
back then . That's why I live where I do .

Couldn't get to the hill top ,where I had been watching turkeys .so I went to a good fall roost this morning . Wow should of looked harder on the way in . Had no idea they where running a pipe line right down the middle of the woods .so at 9 all hell breaks loose quads, chain saws , guys everywhere. time to get out of dodge and head for the house . Will have all day tomorrow .
