The Saunders triple B has a much richer tone and will better serve you throughout many seasons, it’s what I currently use to put geese close to clients. Compare them outdoors if ever the chance and you’ll feel the difference.

I find the triple crown guts to be exactly what I like for speed and much of the tone comes from insert length and bore, as well as tuning. I've tried numerous brands, including Saunders, but always used Grounds as my staple for the fact that they give what I want from a call. Not to mention CS is top notch

you must be talking about betty/spanish/mikie, with no short reed skills....he thinks olts are the ultimate calls, cause that's all he can use, but never seen a true honker in his life...over 12 lb.

Just a mallard shooter.
Remember?
You don't call ducks with goose calls and I'm not a goose hunter anymore.
Thryre too heavy for my feeble bones to tote back to the truck.
You guys don't use calls either.
You do it just like I did.
You drive from pond to pond then spot and sneak and blast a pair or seven park geese and then lie and say you called them right in.
I've went thru three dogs pond jumping them.
Ppl got cell phones and I quit poaching geese.way back in the 1900s.
You guys are fucking awesome but can't post pics of dead stuff you killed because you're afraid bezos will turn off your Amazon home features.
That is NOT Rick Hall's gun you can tell because it's so clean.

Quite a pile of geese you have, Mr Spanish. I don’t have that opportunity here in South Texas, it’s mostly redheads, teal and gadwall.

Always thought of South Texas as big time wigeon and pintail country, have they quit coming?

Interested in hearing that high dollar call also, particularly against some others in an open field.

I'm not usually the one to go the bigger $$ route, but in the case of the Triple Crown and RI,I decided to make exceptions

Got the call today. Gonna have to tune it, for some reason it came with a shaved reed...? I know I didn't ask for one, but I do have a spare triple reed kicking around, so easy fix, Will post pics when I have more time

Call them and ask for it to be re-tuned and tell them how you want it.
That or try inverting the reed.

Just have a call maker tune it to you while you wait.
It looks like this.

Since he made a point of it being a bent full reed, I'd be contacting Grounds for one, if for no other reason than learning how Iverson likes his bent and giving that a go.

I had a spare triple crown reed on hand, so no need to contact Grounds about it.
