I could see why people would say that, especially if they were camping in dat muddy rat infested campground, a long run to go from the launch up river, hunt and come back all in the same day as well. I was staying in a camp at the canal there off the main pass, we had a ball and got into the ducks pretty good.

Is there a big difference in taste between corn fed ducks and geese than your typical duck and goose?

we brought a few home to eat as well as to tan the hides, was amazed at how good the meat is on them critters, made a sauce piquant second to none. the first one of the trip he chased across 50 yards of flotant before walloping in with a stick and then getting stuck, when he saw the chompers on it he wasn't so keen on chasing them around with a stick anymore lol!

Lol. And running and flotant do not belong in the same sentence. Just ask McNabb. Those animals are built to run on it us animals have trouble running on cement, so you mix that with running on a floating mat of grass your asking for a disast

That's what it looks like we have a 2 spec limit here there's and there's more than 12 in that pic so either they have a lot of dirty birds or they can kill more than we can, legally lol

I live here and I can't believe it. I've shot 6 specks many times since they changed the limit but haven't pulled off 6 and the two snows yet.
