Thank you. I'm jus having a hard time finding my lead with these slower shells, glad I'm almost out of them - then it'll be on to the faster loads.

Seriously, reload the 10. So much potential for it in that aspect.

I've wanted to get into reloading for a while but I always heard for a 12 it was more for a special load not so much a money saver. Maybe reloading for a 10 would be good.

In theory, it is cheaper. You can load a box for about $8 for the raw components, shipping not included in that. If you can get primers and powder locally you have it made. You are also looking at least $350 for all new equipment. 10 and 12 are two different presses. Can't do them both on the same press without swapping toolings.

I'm jealous as hell! One of the property owners that i hunted with yesterday afternoon (our late hunt is private land only) sent me this pic from the blind this morning at 0704:

Notice the radio tracker glued to the tarsal band.

Just luck of the draw. He was hunting alone, nobody to even argue "who got it" with.

I shot with my brother and 9 y/o nephew. We had a group of 3 fly almost straight over and we shot our position, the middle and right bird fell (nephew was far left) and he gets up and proclaims "I got mine, how many'd you guys get?". I just laughed and said good shootin', now you run out there to fetch 'em. Later I told him he gets to clean them all since he shot them all.
