Did you ever make any? How did they turn out?

I've seen pictures somewhere of 3D plywood decoys that looked pretty neat. They had a silo, then a piece that had the front view with notches so they lock together and look like a cross from the top. This sat on a botom piece, I forget if it was plywood or foam. These were eider decoys, but you could make geese.

If I were you I would comb the beaches for lost buoys or ask around, I've been offered whole truckloads of used buoys that the guy didn't want around his house anymore.
