First hunt was a warm up

Honk!

First hunt was a warm up

Postby Baysider » Mon Sep 09, 2013 2:54 pm

We went to my farm on Saturday with 4 guys and a nieghbors son who is 12. He had gotten his first goose the day before on a quick hunt before school in the first field we hunted last week. I dont think he had a clue as to what he was in for on this hunt. We killed 43 geese by 7:10am and had 4 with bands. I'd say the young man has been spoiled out of the gate.

Fantastic!

Nice! Looks like you need a bigger truck.

I'm jealous, my early goose didn't go as I'd hoped.

 I hear ya 3 leg. On our first hunt the geese flew a little late and I got bored. Shot a few dove and spent the last 3 flocks of geese wishing I had saved my shells.
