I do my evening hunts just like my morning hunts. Set up the same and call the same as well. My question is are you seeing birds come back to the field at night? Or are they using a morning field and an evening field? If they are in fact using two fields a day what I do is scout in the evening and then use that field the next night.

Wait until about 30 minutes to an hour after sunset.

I can't remember who told the story on the internets, but it still cracks me up:
I was hunting with my uncle, and before dawn we heard a goose honk over the swamp. There was just enough moonlight to see it flying right over us. My uncle shot and dropped it. From across the swamp we hear "what time is it?"
To which my uncle replied "don't know, to dark to read my watch"
(I'm sure I screwed it up some, but the gist of it is there)
