has there been a major migration of any geese to central IL

They've been stacking up in the north this past week. I saw serval thousand while hunting on Tuesday.

With more ponds locking up daily, icebergs floating down the river, and a little snow today, they should be your way soon, if they aren't already there.

thanks for the intel on the honkers, last week the most I saw were in springfield but I hunt north of there we will see if they are in my area here soon

I'd shoot some geese if I could. No water makes it HARD. My goose methods here are crude.
Scout borrow pits, locate geese, and jump them. Getting two is easy once I find them.
I've heard that it's incredibly stupid to fuck around with a crazy man's head.
