I thiught this was a joke until I heard his voice. That was actually awesome.

Is he to good to post it himself?

That's pretty damn cool. Wish I could get on some with cover like that. All the places I can hunt for snows are just flat fields.

That's all we have here- flat. You have to walk/crawl/duckwalk the ditches. It gets old quickly, but is still a blast.

It's a pretty sweet sight watching all those fuckers peel out of the flock, can't wait to jump some!

TK's Snow Goose video

Postby NuffDaddy » Sun Mar 09, 2014 9:18 pm

Seems like it would be a lot more fun to set up before they get there and get a bunch of volleys instead of one.

Not too good to post it.

I just didn"t think I had anything positive to add to the site.

Yes, but it is also quite expensive to attempt to do so. Unless you have a pit available to you, decoying them requires a very large spread, especially at this time when the majority of birds in the area are adults. I would honestly say you really don't have a decent snow spread around here until you have about 50 dozen decoys, and that is about the bare minimum.

I've always said " Snows don't know where they are going until 10 minutes after they get there!" But don't quote me on that
