That would be interesting to see. Probably would look like a cloud of angry bees leaving the barrel.

I believe there are 183 pellets per oz with TSS #7

So how many ounces could you load into a 3 1/2?

You could easily fit 4 oz, I wouldn't load over 2.25oz. Beyond that is a crapshoot on making a safe load. I loaded some for turkey, watched a friend shoot a Rio Grande at a lasered 81 yards, bird dropped in its tracks. Was hit in the head, and noticed 7 pellets with complete pass through of the upper breast.

Damn, sounds like good stuff. Hopefully Nitro Turkey does the trick for me.

Nitro are very good, loaded with 12g/cc Hevi Shot. They do a lot of duplex loads, but I would choose a straight #7, plenty of killing power to 50 yards.[/quote]

I think what I have is 5s. Had the same box for 6-7 years....

I think so. May not be that old.

They're decent, for lead. I was thinking of Nitro company that loads hevi for turkey.

Don't know about now, but believe Remington Nitro Magnum lead had the highest antimony content (hardest lead) available in commercial loads back when we were still shooting geese with it. Was also much more expensive, $14-something a box, than the steel everyone bitched about the price of.

That jump was made with 2 3/4 kent steel BB. I will always jump with 2 3/4 because I get two extea shots. But I really should get something heavier than steel next time.
