Took the kids out..

Only one flock but it was edge of a cornfield so easy hunt.. was done by 7:30.. Kids had fun..

Shot into them knocked 4 down did some comeback calling they circled back over head we dropped the other 3..

A lot of people don't realize how often you can call back a flock a Canadas that you just shot into.

You take the lead birds which are usually the parents the young ones don't know what is going on.. and I assume parents are wondering about there young and take a look sometimes..

Also, the pair bond is strong. The mate will often come back around.

We had a pair come in last year. Should have dropped them both myself, but we let one get away. Called it back around and it was going to land right where it had just lost its mate. These were both big mature birds. My buddy couldn't believe they would do that. It still surprises me when they do that, but they do it quite often.
