Jack Miner Band and Weird Geese

On a recent NE Ohio goose hunt we started off great and finished amazing! The first flock that came in on us had two greylag/farm ?! geese with them. We originally thought they were specks, but then after closer examination we think they might be greylag. What do you guys think? Ever seen or shot one of these? I then finished the hunt on a seemingly routine single just to find out it had a Jack Miner band on it! Not bad for my first band and one heck of a hunt!

Congrats on your success. A Jack Miner band is a real trophy. In all my years of hunting I never knew anyone that got one. Nice job...

There's a man the call "Harpy" at bayou bottoms that has four lanyards full of bands.(everything you've ever heard of)
That guy is one of a kind. You'll know him when you see him because he'll be wearing a leather aussie hat with a coon dick bone stuck thru the brim.
There's only one Harpy. They broke the mold.

If you run into him ask him about the queen's lands in Canada.
The reply is a long story but is priceless and you gotta hear it from his mouth.
Just go to Herrin, IL and you'll find him.
