Of Canada geese around right now. Corn fields with sheet water or depressions filled up to about 1.5' and there are birds all over it. Along with the geese plenty of prime mallards. Has to be some northern migration because these birds were not here during the season. If only......

There were some guys a couple years ago that did what you're wishing on. They shot the heck out of the birds until the law arrived. It was Illinois.
NO licenses
NO FOID
Not in season
They shot species that were protected
WAYYY over limts
On and on...

I think they had warrants on them for other things too.

AHAHAHA. That's good.
I'm pretty sure the man knows all the who, what, where, when, and why before they even get the trucks started in that sort of case. It was not just a one-day trip. One of them was banned from hunting before he got caught.
Oh man I should probably get the article from the "who all they busted" list.
Pretty sure I'm not on it for that year.

Anymore I would trade the entire duck season for 1 week of spring shooting. I drove by a very small pond yesterday that never holds any birds and looking and behold it was loaded ( 30) with prime blue bills. I didn't even have my camera with me unfortunately.

There are thousands and thousands of Canadians (lol) loafing on the flooded fields north of Park Place Apartments.
They have a taste for the high dollar real estate corn fields that are inside the city limits. That and the golf course.
I'd bet the residents at the Lincolnshire Fields Country Club are sick of the noise noise noise. Millions dollar homes covered in goose shit. 8-)

Maybe I should take some videos. They're stacked today. We got the high high geese, high geese, the lower ones, the loww ones, and the feeders on the ground. There were snow geese here a few days ago.
