Future Supper

Strange for me maybe not for others but this will be the first spring that I can remember that I saw ducklings before goslings. Finally today I saw four families. All small groups. This is the only family I got a picture of. The other adult was going berserk to my left trying to get my attention.

Things were looking great for our local goose population but then we had an April blizzard and snow storms. I think the birds did OK with the storms however the melting snow and rain afterwords flooded out their nests. Guessing there was a bunch of re-nesting.
