Iverson's bend would have been what interested me. Is that incorporated in stock Triple Crown reeds? (Never been a Grounds guy.)

The triple crown guts are a Kelly Powers thing. What Robbie did was blend two different calls into one, using the triple crown guts.

So all TC reeds are bent? (I tend to think of "guts" just being toneboard and wedge, with reeds pretty much generic until shaved or bent.)

You were sent a call that had a shaved reed and it doesn’t perform as expected?
Maybe you got a turd? You should send it back, $200 is way too much to spend and have to “fix” it.
Anyhow, it’s probably never going to sound like you want it to but good luck.

LOL, a reed is hardly a disaster. I switched out for a full reed and it's running as expected. Not going to send back a 1/1 over a $5.00 reed

It must have turned out to be a turd?
Hope you got your money back at the very least.
Charge them for the reed, pain and suffering.
