Don't put that kind of voodoo on me

That's what's at the SE blind's north side - and probably south now, too.

Still fun to watch them come pretty until they get to the hole. After that it gets "interesting".

Just glad I'm not the only one seeing birds at your blind.

Quick morning hunt

Left from house to hunt and catch the "ducky" weather. 4-4 1/2 hour round trip.

Weather: warm with ese wind and grey. Light rain at end of the hunt.

Hunters: me, Christian, Andy, Hambone

Bird activity: no ducks to be seen early. Specks had their mind made up to go to the filed north of ours.

Responsiveness: horrible. Couldn't call specks off where they wanted to be and knew it was gonna be a long day when I couldn't finish a group of spoonies.

Decoys: same ol same.

Notes: left the blind to go hide in levee where the geese wanted to be. I knew it was a bad idea with four of us and two dogs but I could t help it. After we shot the neighboring blind across the road from us made it clear they were not happen with our new location. We didn't call any birds from their direction and a gun shot from where the blind is to where we set up temporarily wouldn't make any difference in my opinion. But after we shot they shot several times yelling and laughing and shooting thre long drawn out shots anytime a goose came near our area so we packed up and left.

Birds: 1 speck

We stay within the boundary of the field our pit is in, which is about 65 acres. I assume y'all did the same, don't see what the issue would be, but I know down there there's a pit every 1/4 mile or less.

There is a blind a quarter mile in from the hard road to Jarren's north, but I'd think he'd of had to been very close to that road for it to have made a difference to them. If there's one to the east, it's new to me. (And west is all us for nearly a mile.) So I'm curious where the upset blind is.
