The way our last few seasons have been, this is a welcomed change. Though part of me is still a little gun shy, reluctant to get too confident, for fear of the ole slap in the face.

Now you sound like me managing expectations to keep the surprises good ones.

HA! Was my thoughts when I was typing that.

I received a text this morning from a young lady that worked for us for a time, whose husband is an avid duck hunter. He and a few of his friends seem to have had a nice hunt in a local swamp yesterday morning. I thought it was a awesome picture and thought I'd share.

No, but I have a pretty good Idea of where they hunted......and they don't have to worry about me going in there.

Update on my passengers.

The area is not as angry as it once was and seems to be responding ever so slowly to the antibiotics. I had a visit with the surgeon last week and he told me that it seemed the antibiotics are working and that it could take 4 to 6 months to fully rid myself of this unwanted mess. It's not near as sensitive as it once was.

I've also been in therapy for three weeks, twice a week, for my shoulder. That has it's ups and downs...I'm falling apart!

This is how it looks today
