I've wanted to get one of those for so long, but it just seems too impractical. Even for me.

THEY CAN BE A PAIN IN THE ASS TO LOAD AND CLEAN BUT STILL A LOT OF FUN.

I've always been paranoid about the other rounds cooking off and blowing off my hand. Whether that really happens or not is up for debate, but the possibility has been enough to deter me.

There is a small possibility however using lubed patches and some oatmeal in each chamber takes that down to about nill

That's really interesting, I haven't heard that before. I really like using our BP rifle. I think a pair of the navy revolvers would be pretty bad ass.

I will not use sabots. If I am going to shoot a BP gun it will be as close to traditional as possible. If I wanted pinpoint accuracy I would use a rifle.

I built a Kentucky rifle last year. Still waiting to kill a deer with it, but it is a fun bastard to shoot.

If I'm using a gun at all, it's because I'm playing for blood. If I'm going to be using a gun that's as accurate as a little leauge pitcher, I'll just take my bow.

Its the experience. For example, if I got a traditional long bow I would use wooden arrows instead of carbon. Don't know about you but that's just how I fell about it.

Worthless shit. A round ball is more deadly than one of those bastards.
