Rebel fishing at night. The spawn is going and fishings been tuff to say the least. Got three last night with pops.

I've only seen glow lures used for salmon and they do work well first thing In the morning.

DFO just announced they are opening a trial season starting tomorow until the fifteenth. Limit is one per day, one in posession, but I'm a duck hunter, posession limits don't apply to me

Going to the Miramichi river tomorow. Hopefully some salmon, trout and bass pics soon.

Well looks like things are winding down for stripers. Caught 4 in the last two trips and most were spawned out. Did learn today that Jason can't hit a skunk with a 45.

Time to start chasing shad!

Just got home ended up with 4 and lost a few more now its bed time.

Had an absolute monster on and it broke the line before I could get the rod out of the rod holder but that's the way it always goes.

Very nice

Last time I went out, I tied on a 7 inch magnum rapala and kept hooking into things that would take out fifteen yards of line then shake the hook ( single barbless hook law on that river). I could feel the rod flexing in my hand and thought my ugly stick was going to snap at the reel seat. The 27-30 inchers we caught on Xraps never came close to pulling that hard. I'll catch one of those bastages yet!
