I've never been. We don't get any cool fish here. Just your basic, run of the mill fresh water fish.

My buddy had a gadget he invented called the net buddy. I told him I would sport it to spread the word.

We got it good... Catfish bass trout and panfish year around. Striper and sturgeon in the spring salmon in the fall. My wife's favorite is shad fishing in late may and June. Good weather and lots of beer.;)

Beer always makes it better.

You use plainer boards or just dropping lines?

I'll more than likely just mount it right there in the field.

What kinda depth are they hanging out at right now out west? Talked to dad a couple days back and around my neck of the woods they are hanging around 20-40ft.

I fish for them in fresh water when they make their spawning run. Sometimes we catch them on artificial in a couple feet of water. We cut bait fish for them normally between 8 and 12 feet of water on sand flats.

It is amazing the differences they have this far away. During the spawn here and early mornings you can always find them on the clay points and headwaters of the lakes. They normally dont go to the main lake until the end of April first week of may.

Ours come up from the Sacramento river delta 100 miles give or take depending on river levels.
