Whatever you did you did it right, limiting out that fast.

X-rap purple ghost is the deadliest striper lure in existence.

I like glass ghost for around here.

Just busting balls. I wouldn't know an Atlantic salmon if it bit me in the nipple.

Both are excellent, but I was catching two to my brothers one using the purple ghost. Probably just luck but the mere mention of the purple ghost pisses him off now.
Didn't help that I was shouting PURPLE GHOST at every hookset

Holy shit jehler those are awesome eaters. You need to build a tiny teepee, brine em, and cold smoke em over alder. I dont freeze them first but probably should, oh nevermind. That over cream cheese bagel with capers or black pepper is super rock solid.

How far north did you go?

Started at mitches and had our limit about a half mile north of Alden, I would keep running north unless the bite shuts off

10 lb mono, mostly original rapalas #11's.
Caught three so far. Two on black/silver and one on orange/gold. Almost to the point south of clam river now.

I had best luck on baits that were 100' back

Nope just good eaters. These things fight like walleye...they don't.
