Them guys are crazy. Especially the short one that runs around in the bay muck in water shoes and shorts. He looked like he'd been rolling in the mud when they got back for weigh in.

Ha ha. Brent.

Truth. I've never seen him wear long pants.
December 27th, blowing a damn gale when we got to RI, about 30* and he's running around in a sweatshirt and shorts and crocs.

Seriously man, you gotta try some buffalo ribs. The meat is white and flaky. It has a good taste, you'd be seriously surprised.

I don't doubt it would be good eating. There is just so much pollution in the water between consumers energy and Dow chemical that eating a bottom feeder seems like a bad idea.

That's why you cook it. Burn those chemicals out!

Nope. I try not to shoot them, but if I do I try and give them to the guys fishing by the launch otherwise they just go in the hole.

What are you taking about? Catfish are not the same as buffalo.

Is skeptical of any fish I catch out of the Sagnasty Bay. Those usually get used up in fish fries up north and we save the inland fish for our family meals.

Isn't it illegal to shoot catfish because they are game fish? I think that is how it is here.

Eating sport fish out of it is the same difference. They eat baitfish that eat things plankton like stuff that filter feeds. Also crawdads and gobys too.

Last one I caught was 20+ lbs and was black as night. I think it may have been an escaped coy. You may have even considered him good eatin.

I haven't ever seen a black carp or buffalo. Seriously looked like a coy. Was it a carp?
