Why you gotta ruin my fun? That was a good 10 minutes worth of Googling for jehler, before he came back on here and called me names. Thanks, bastard.

Sorry assa, I've already seen the bizarre foods with all the minnows in barrels aging in the sun, I almost gagged at the memory of eating it, I pretend to not know where it comes from to this day

Landfill. Most farmers don't want them in their fields because the carp have so many chemicals in them.

Yup. They were up in some shallows with their airboat and were all over the fish. We couldn't get to them with my outboard. Several teams had picked trucks full, it's crazy how many carp there are out there.

I about threw up weighing in in the morning after all the fish from the first half sat there for 12 hours. I got some of the blood on my shoes without knowing it and got in the truck...talk about a mess.

$30 per person. No limit to people but you only get one boat. It's a good time...it would be worth the trip just to see some of the boats these guys have setup for this. Plus there is usually enough carp to walk across in most spots.

They have another tournament out of Standish towards the end of July. That's a 12 hour tourney from 8pm to 8am.

I got the final standings in for our last tournament. We got 3rd in the B class. Winners of the A class got 884 fish. That's 42 fish an hour for 21 hours straight.

Took my little brother and 2 of his friends out tonight. Didn't see many fish and only got 6, but all 3 of them shot their first fish so it was a good night.

That's crazy isn't it. We got 171 and we worked our asses off the whole time hauling fish.

Ive been thinking real hard about buying a air boat now though. With the way the water levels are it would be nice for duck hunting too.

Those guys stop bow fishing to duck hunt in the fall, other than that...they fish probably 3x a week, year round.
We got back from RI @ 6am on New Year's Day and they grabbed their bows and went to whack fish.

Yeah - with a red jacked up super duty? That's them.

I've never winter fished with them...not sure if they go to the hot ponds or hit rivers or what. I was afraid if I asked to many questions I'd end up having to go with them - ha ha.
