Granddaughter, went fishing

Granddaughter, went fishing

Postby Duplex Lover » Wed May 29, 2013 3:56 pm

Well we ( me and GD) didn't start at 5:30 am like normal. In fact I had to deliver a present to the county treasurer first. We had to stop and get some supplies too, worms, Bug juice ,Donut holes ext...You know Papa supply's . Good thing it's close. Largent bend by Vaughn was the destination. When we got there one guy had walked in from that little development but didn't bother us. Tried some bobbers for a bit but nothing. I put on some sinkers and BAM the bull heads wouldn't let it set long. To much work to keep two poles in the water so mine was set aside and we proceeded to pull in fish after fish after fish. Great fun till she got a hook in her hand and poked by a fish ,then we where done. Don't know how many we got but it was non-stop for two hours. FUN! :fishing:

Looks like fun. Getting into some mudcats is a lot better than perch.

I don't eat mudcats if that is what you are thinking. Don't eat perch either. But If I had to pick between a day of catching a bunch of perch or a bunch of mudcats the cats would win.
