I tried yesterday afternoon but the tide was too high.I would've needed my chest waders just to get to the ice, so I went rabbit hunting instead.

Ice fishing is something I would like to try some day. The drinking part really appeals to me.

Just go to your nearest walk in freezer with a fifth of crown and you'll get pretty much the entire experience. Stop at the fish market on your way home and buy a trout. Then, lie to your wife about losing one that was at least twice as big right in the hole for full effect.

Got out real late and only fished for about an hour in a spot that I didn't really want to fish but it was convenient. 3 flags, all 3 fish dropped the minnow. :? Back at it tomorrow! They're already driving trucks on the ice out here.

Took the boys out this morning and caught a bunch of little gills. Bonus for the day was this gem I found buried in the snow on the lake.

I doubt Assa would ever find something like that. That would mean he had to be out on a lake freezing his ass off.

 Nice one Goldie!

I'm going to give Fort Peck a try today, it allegedly iced up last weekend. Hopefully I can find 5 inches of ice where I'm going.

Nice fish guys! Yellow perch are awesome. Only had them once when I was out in MT but they were tasty and fun to catch.

No photos, sorry. It was cold as fuck and I don't keep those slimy bastards so I didn't want it to freeze. Taped it out at 33; I assure you, I will easily break that this winter.

That walleye went 9.75, pretty skinny for 31"

No reason not to keep slough sharks. They really aren't that hard to fillet. YouTube how. Taste pretty good and you get a good chunk of meat.

They're slimy and they stink. I refuse to keep them when I have no problem catching perch and walleye.

We throw every pike caught on the bank or on the ice, hate them fish. They eat salmon and trout.

AK throws them on the bank too. Then Eric picks them up.
