I gotta get my dad to go out there soon then. Last time we didn't go until way late and all we caught was a bunch of catfish.

We drive south of Meridian and end up launching between Grimes and Knights Landing. I think Tisdale? Then we fish downriver from there.

That's where I fish 90% of the time. I'm guessing it's going to be a quick run with our lack of water. I would talk your dad into going in the next couple of weeks.

Well, I guess I should have opened up the 300,000 post thread earlier.

I'll let you know when they get here good. It's just a few small schools up here now. This rain should bring more, hopefully!

Hey, Capri suns are delicious! Still would have been better than hearing my dad's buddy's neighbor tell me the story about the time he seen a pterodactyl while he was hunting, and the time he seen the lake Tahoe sea monster. He then said I could believe him if I wanted but he was religious and swore to God on his parent"s grave he saw them. So he wasn't screwing with me, he really was crazy.

I wish I had a place called "Knights Landing" to go fishing. All I have is Port Washington. I feel like I should wear a tricorne and go around spitting on little Irish children on the docks.

Yeah, there's also a popular area here for duck hunting called Los Banos (translates to "the bathrooms" in Spanish.)

D&B I would suggest you talk your dad into going striper fishing soon! Conditions should be perfect in a few days and I'm sure the recent high water brought a ton of fish up.

Got it So that means I'll need to convince my mom to buy my dad an 18 pack before Friday, so he is in optimal condition to be talked into fishing before this weekend.

Well, I asked my dad if we could go striper fishing. His response, "Fuck no. I am not gonna go sit in a boat all day and get sunburnt so I can keep two stripers. What the fuck am I even gonna look at? Two levees? Your gonna have to wait until I have some time off to go trout fishing." I guess that's a no.
