The fishing and weather was horrible. Me and my buddy were so exhausted and after running on about two hours sleep for two days we opted to sleep rather then see if his 9 pound male netted him any prize. When he did bring the one of only 2 males we caught in to be weighed you would have thought he was carrying a fucking unicorn. It was the first fish they had seen come in that day. Second day we had Joel on the boat and we tried everything. Even live bait but still had zero success so we opted to drink until we got rained off the water at 0200.

Yes, but I think the problem was they all busted a nut and headed back to the bay. It was like fishing in a desert.

Gadwall and I had a good time today despite the crappy fishing conditions. I caught the largest striper I've ever caught today plus a nice keeper for the freezer. We fished striper for a few hours then tried some new spots for American shad.

Shoulda put a hook in that bastard and tried to catch a monster.
