Fall Fishing

Fall Fishing

Had a small salt water tourney Saturday that I fished with my girlfriend. Great tidal movement, with it falling all morning, but a 15-20 mph North wind to go with it. Had to move around a bit after daylight, but finally got on some good upper slot (16-26")Redfish, and managed to score a couple of places.

Went back Sunday morning, fished a different area, and was able to get on a few fat fall flounders (2-3 lbs each). Also caught 3 dz blue crabs as we fished, using the old school method of a string, weight and bait.

Love this time of year for fishing, and duck season is right around the corner. Saw our first decent influx of birds, mostly Gadwalls, that moved in this weekend with the passing front.
