Thanks, Rick. Elizabeth and I are as ready as can be or care to be. Matthew threw a large oak upon our home, and we are surrounded by large pines and oaks. I left part of myself out there in Louisiana, and have to feed it every now and then. You folk always treated us as best as anyone, and the mottled duck with the shot through his webbed foot flies proud within five feet of me...feet down.
Of course, there is always more to do. Elizabeth sends her best wishes, but she still has that danged mop. Hope you guys and gals have a great time this season.
Dorian passes east of us in a few hours. We are expecting 60-85 MPH winds and 8-10 foot surge, but Dorian spent itself out an awful lot stalled over the Bahamas. It can turn more Northeastward any time now, we hope. All we can do now is batten the hatches and pray. You guys have had your share of these, and we think about you when you do.
All in a day's work.
