Sure wish it was me, didn't even fire on a speck this year myself. Other end of the farm had some nice hunts but we weren't in the game with our field of bushes. Next season we're back in rice, we're told. Will keep on the lookout for bands and collars!

Great work, John

Definitely a nice mount, John, where's the collar from? Recall from when we were still shooting them in some number that red was from either Alaska or the NW Territories and blue from the other and have it in my noggin that red signified Alaskan bandings.

The bird was in his freezer 4 years so nothing recently

It was Alaska

The most recent collared birds I have seen were from arkansas last year and they were red

When we were still shooting neck bands, Arkansas was a place specks pooped on while flying here. Things change.

Yes I have picked up 3 for dad. 2 blue ones on specks in the late 80’s,early 90’s. And a green on an eagle head

Nothing recently collared wise
