Pre-Season
Posted: Sat Sep 15, 2018 12:22 amWell just took a ride out to the property Thursday to pull some trail camera cards as bow season opens Saturday and there is about 6” of water on all the smart weed and the millet I planted.
We kicked up 40-50 BWT, 12-15 Mallards and 20-25 Woodies... all right in front of the blind...
It due to be warm this whole week but we should get more rain next week keeping the water we’re it’s at... it looks like it’s going to be a great opener!
I may choose to hunt a local public marsh for the opener and keep mine to hunt Sunday... we’ll see be as long as we get some more rain before the 29th I’ll be set for sure.
Smartweed 2 weeks ago without water on it.
