Fwiw, when in the rice, I've long made a point of kicking around stirring mud in the decoys - but wouldn't want to bet that water stays roiled long enough to make a bit of difference by the time the sun's up. Couldn't help but notice it's always as clear as when I'd started by the time I'm picking up speck decoys.

Would, however, like to think it at least makes a nice show for my hunters and know it give me something to do between setting my speck decoys out and LST. Maybe if I'd run a 4-wheeler around in the pond...

Yea rice water tends to clear up if not disked. Beans get muddy quick and stay that way.

From 2016-2017 season, last time we were in beans and had slick water. Was a good season for ducks on that
