Sucks the daily limit is only two here in Michigan this year. Mandarin will chase widgeon out of a feeding area. They're very aggressive.

You have enough of a population there that they set a limit on them? That seems a little silly seeing as they are not a native species. I suppose chinese ringneck pheasants aren't native either though.

We have more mandarins than black ducks. We're only allowed one black duck.

Here in the great lakes they taste pretty good, not like the ones from the salt flats.

Haha. That's going to get some goofy looks from hunters not in the MI area. It looks good though.

Maybe I should bring this thing down your way when I have it, or you should come up here. That way, if we both drop one over it, they'll have to fight two of us to get the decoy back.

Pintail comes in to an Assa/Baysider hunt
A short story by Goldfish

Baysider: "Here comes some birds"
Assa: "Probably more $%*#ing black ducks"
Baysider and Assa: "PINTAILS!"

*BoomBoom*
*Splash*
Assa: "I'll to get it since I'm in the hybrid. (to himself: Please let there be gas, please let there be gas...)"
*Braaaaapapapap*
Baysider: "Sweet, go grab my pintail!"
Assa: "Yours?"
*Wwhhheeeeeeeeeerrrrrmmmm*
Baysider: "(to himself: Did he just question if it was mine?) Hey, why'd you grab the decoy... and where are you go... HAY!!!!!!"

The End.

(it's now 5'oclock. needed to kill some time. later gentlemen)

I'll warn you now- I shoot buffies. They are every bit as tasty as a teal. But not as tasty as a black duck.
