Makin divers

Ok I got almost some old decoys for free today and want to make some divers I was thinkin ringers and blue bills they are some old game winner unweighted teal and mallards. I went and weighted the keel what paint to u guys recommend to paint this with

Doesn't really matter too much but I would recommend the krylon plastic paint and matte clear coat or testors dull cote.

Kool should I tape off the color breaks like black to white or just kinda fade them together

I sprayed mine all flat white then just hand painted the black over it in the appropriate places.

I've seen milk jugs painted flat white then black on both ends. It bet it'd work for those too, fast and simple.

Cheapo Depot is a great place for sample paints for the bill colors.

Is sanding necessary or just cleaning them will do not sure how to prep the plastic

just prime first, you'll never get into all the crevasses sanding.
