I'll give you my shotgun if you can endure the boat ride.

What kind of shotgun would that be?

We can settle this with a bare knuckle boxing match if you wish.

I had a pair of these once, and liked them a lot. But when they wore out, I could never find another cheap pair. About $20 best I can find. I can't even find the wool inserts we used to have in the Army anymore.

I usually pay $8 or $10 and they last about a season.

You've never layout hunted have you?

You've got a 50-50 shot at being wet before you ever even get to where you're going to hunt.

If you can handle a 10-15 mile boat ride in 30-35 degree temps in 2-3' waves without gloves, hunt for 2-4 hours without gloves, and make the ride back, without gloves - than you're tougher than me.

If I'm by myself hunting it can take 30 min or more to pack everything up. And by the end my hands don't work which makes everything take even longer.

I never said I didn't want gloves to hunt with. They are all worthless. But I use them.

Ever thought about getting hand warmers for your pockets? Not the disposable ones but the reusable zippo ones.

No, but that's a good idea. Still wouldn't help with picking up decoys though. Planning on Texas rigging all my shallow water deeks for next season so that should help with pickup time.

Then take a damn brake halfway through and warm your hands back up.

I thought you were talking about some fancy-pants neoprene gloves. I will accept your challenge with only my jersey gloves. What kind of shotgun do I get? (mind you, there's no wrong answer to that, as far as I"m concerned- a free shotgun is the best kind)
