Gloves?

I've been using the shitty neoprene gloves the past few seasons and I'm sick of em. They leak on the 1st trip out, and they don't keep your hands warm. So what are a good pair of waterproof gloves that will keep my hands warm in November/December without making it impossible to shoot?

Just get a 10 pack of brown jersey gloves for $3. Take them off before you put your hands in the water.

the only time I really need gloves is when I put my hands in the water. 35* water is cold when you have 4 doz decoys to pick up.

NuffDaddy, I have a pair of neoprene gloves that I dipped in liquid latex. They are fleece lined so if your hands gets wet it's a bitch to put them on and you can't shoot with them but I'll usually wear them and slip off my trigger hand glove when the birds are coming in.

I have 3 or 4 pair of those fleece lined neoprene gloves. I'll have to try dipping them in latex to see if it stops the leaks. Not real concerned about shooting with them on. More picking up the decoys and the boat rides that anything.

I have hunted in 20 degree weather before. I have some old Neoprene gloves that leak worse than a sinking boat, but they do keep my hands warmer than no gloves at all. Only wear those when I am picking up decoys.

I use my ice armor mitts while waiting if its super cold. They practically fall off when the birds are coming in. Otherwise I dont wear any gloves.

You could try this Nuff. Just spray it on your hands, that would be manly.

Know what's colder than that? 30 degree water. Just get the jersey gloves and Texas rig the decoys.

I wear these setting out/picking up / long boat rides..etc.

I normally don't wear anything while hunting, but if its cold enough I have both these in my bag.

Not water proof, but made to keep hands warm when wet, and you can shoot in them.

Nuffdaddy,
All gloves are worthless to duck hunt in. Neoprene should be outlawed. It is particularly worthless as a glove.

I have a pair of one piece rubber gloves I got from Cabelas. They are sometimes useful to pick decoys up with. AT is on to something with the jersey gloves. That is mostly what I use.

In general gloves are worthless in waterfowl hunting.

I am thinking about getting a zippo hand warmer mI hear they work pretty good.

I invite all you tough manly men to come and duck hunt without your gloves.

I'm gonna make a fortune selling you $15 gloves for $200 or have a riot watching your blue fingers dropping off..
