Traditional gear

Postby Redbeard » Wed Jul 17, 2013 11:58 pm

Wore a Filson jacket the last two years and love it. Really gettin broke in. Although my wife says it looks and smells like a haz mat spill. Have a pair of chaps I wear when I train the mutts in wet grass and mud. Anyhow, think of gettin a hat now and maybe some overalls for goose season. Any traditionalist out there? Or just the usual Drake, Banded Gear, Avery junkies?

If I could afford it, I'd be a traditionalist. Finding that kind of stuff is tough, and it's expensive.

I do wear overalls for upland.

Red get either the filson wildfowl (I think that's what it's called) or a stormy kromer brand hat.

All of us Guns have these, awesome hats! Warm, fold down ear flaps, and reversible top to switch to orange if needed. Worth it for sure. I think the old man has had his for close to 20 years now
