If you guys have a murdochs anywhere near you, instead of spending $15 for a pair of neoprene that might rip from something sharp. Instead buy leather work gloves. They are waterproof and tough. And If you get some that are lined with fleece or bunny fur inside, it will also make a good cold weather gloves. Plus you can get 3 pairs for $15 and give the other two to two of your buddy's.

I pick up decoys bare handed. Gloves get in the way.

Never understood the "gloves for picking up decoys" thing, myself.

I wear neoprene gloves. I have to pull river sludge/algae off of the decoy line then walk out.
Freezing hands are no fun...

I used neoprene gloves in Eastern Washington in temps of 10 degrees. Worked good putting deeks out. I had them layed out to dry in the blind during the day and all they did was freeze. I agree, easier with no gloves and then put the wool gloves on after your done setting/picking up deeks.

Believe I've tried most everything, but these $4 utility gloves are the best marsh gloves I've found:

Out there on the water every day of the season and haven't had cracked hands in years. Wear Army surplus wool liners that cost about the same under them when it's really cold.

yep, got a pair from the farm store. Cheap and durable. Doesn't need to be pretty or fit very well to just pick up decoys.
