Looking for a blind bag and need some help.

First off I will just get this out of the way. I have a problem when it comes to bags. I like to have a bag for each purpose.

Last season I used my range bag for a blind bag and it worked fine. Its a Midway USA compact range bag. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/939167 ... -range-bag
Great little bag and I liked the size. Coming from the military I know that if you have room in the bag you tend to find things to fill it. The problem with it is that it is in no way water proof. It was never dropped in the water and we had light snow just a lot of foggy damp/drizzle filled mornings. Everything just felt wet by the end of the day.

THis will be my first full season as I am just getting started so I really don't want to spend that much and I don't have that much gear other then the basics.

4 calls
couple chokes
usually take 3-4 boxes of ammo (don't like to go out with out a lot of ammo. Damn you iraq  )
Some type of fire
Thermos
snacks
tp

Any suggestions or should I just suck it up for another season and use a bunch of baggies.

Thanks for the help.

You might like one of those hard plastic boxes. The ones similar to an ammo can only about twice as tall. They have a tray inside for your small stuff and the bit junk goes below. I have a buddy who uses one and sometime he uses it as a seat.

That's probably your best bet if you want something waterproof. Otherwise you can find a bag you like and spray the shit out of it with the water sealer stuff for boots (Tiller "boots" in this sentence are the things on your feet not in addition toos) or jackets.

I just bought this one. It's huge, and half the price of other brands of the same size...it has a hard bottom to protect from water/mud, and I can fit a full size coffee thermos inside of it with all kinds of other gear. I've only had it out twice, but so far I'm pretty happy with it.

The Gander Mtn. bad is very similar to the Cabela's bag, but is only $40...

Fractured a bone in my knee, out for 6 weeks, sadly I think it's time to retire, too many surgeries and not enough results :| recently! On the other hand I started a total of 22 college games so
I guess it has been a success

Heck yes it's been a success. You've done what not many people can say they did. But you may want to seriously consider how well the next 40 years will treat your aching body when making the decision, brother.

I played d-end at tech and can speak from experience, 17 surgeries so far. 11 of which have been football related. My body didn't hold up to the level I played at, I have problems trying to sleep. They don't really hinder me from doing anything but I feel the pain on an all time basis. Looking back at it now, I wish I wouldn't have played. It was fun but not even remotely worth it.

Yep. Walk away while you can walk. I had my 2nd knee surgery before my 1st year of college baseball. I played one year and retired. Wasn't worth it to me, 10 years ago I quit using stilts at work. Like Jim said, you've done what most won't.
