Help Finding Duck Camo

Postby LakeDaleDrake91 » Mon Oct 14, 2013 10:52 pm

I'm on quite a tight budget as a college student and don't have any duck camo but I need some for this weekend and the rest of the season. Anyone have some suggestions for some reasonably priced Duck Camo used or new, wether its waders, bibs, jackets, pants, or etc. I've been searching online on ebay, craigslist, and retail stores all night and could use some guidance. Thanks.

Walmart. Plus any camo you have will work, doesn't need to be any special camo. Just stay still. I was hunting with a guy in the 80's who was wearing a dayglow yellow, orange and black sweatshirt, we still got birds to decoy.

Check stores like academy if you got one around. They should have brown or green neoprene waders for like $70 bucks if not on sale. Any solid earth toned jacket will work as well. Just get solid colors that match the colors of your background. High dollar camo isn't necessary.

Just wear some dark, dull colors and stay still, you will be ok. For over 20 years I used an old Army field jacket (od green). Shit that was before you "had" to wear camo. Now days, you have to wear camo even if you are sitting in a box blind hunting deer........Camo seat covers, bed spreads, t-shirts, Crocks, the list goes on and on and on. It is bullshit I tell you, pure bullshit!

I use a pair of the 3.5 mm brown waders. They do what they are supposed to. They got some patches now but they are the best $35 I've spent on duckin equipment.

Why do you have my name in your shit? I don't approve.

But I wear dark Cano. Duck blind is my favorite pattern.

Actually, it wasn't "duck color", it was "duck cloth". It was named that due to the extra-tight weave, which repelled water "as if off a ducks back".
