Waders for shoe size 16

Postby Backwood » Mon Dec 23, 2013 7:20 pm

Hey everyone, I NEED help! I have a large foot size 16. Mack's PW have been the only ones to offer anything I have found in searching for 2 yrs and hunting in muck boots while my hunting friends did all the work setting up. Finally bought 16 waders and have been wonder full, except my labs decided to use them as a chew toy last week. Mack's is out of stock till next season...and I need to hunt. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
PS In the mean time I overnighted a 15 from Cabela's but they arrived today, and it just ain't happining

13 far as I could get there. Thanks.
I also called Lacrosse, basspro, gander mountain, browning, hodge man, Mack's, Rodgers, drake, even a dive shop and considered a wet suit. Having big feet has only one advantage...

I'm pretty sure Olly has giant feet and I know he wears cabelas waders, maybe he will chime in here. I remember being kids and getting stuck looking for giant shoes one day with him and his mom. So I can't be wrong here.

Rebelp wears about that size shoe, maybe he will chime in.

And since you mentioned a wet suit from a dive shop maybe you could contact USiA, they make dry suits and custom waders. Maybe they could build you a set in your size.

A few members here have them and are happy, I'm gonna order a pair for next season.

I'll warn you though, the other guys that have them say it takes about 6 weeks to get them.

Macks is the only one that I know of that carries size 16. I have cabelas breathables that are a 15 as long I'm not wearing insulated socks I can cram into em. Usia doesn't have them on the site but can supposedly make whatever you want.

What about those cheap universal nylon waders and just wear them under your taped and plastidipped waders till you find others?

I wear a size 15 shoe and wear a cabelas 14. They run big. See what they have.

I usually wear size 16 waders from bigcamo.com but they are/were out of stock when I tried to order a pair earlier this year. I got a pair of the lacrosse mallard expandable waders in size 15 from Mack's Prairie Wings, they're tight on my foot but it beats not having anything.

Thanks everyone for your comments, ideas, and info. For now since I'm hunting tomorrow I'll use Cabela's Supermag 1600 size 15. They are tight on my feet but manageable. Also hoped this post has helped others with large feet.

Fuckin a right. I wear a size 10, but the thing that sucks is I need a 36 inch inseam and all size 10 boot waders come with a 32-34 inch inseam.

Then how come the waders are too short and restrict my leg movement? also my pants don't touch the ground, they hit at the heel of my boot where they're supposed to. mr high waters.
