Mr Heater problem.

I have one of the single burner Mr. Heaters. It has a metal frame that allows it to be turned upwards like a stove burner so you can cook on it.

The problem is the valve is a bit clogged (I think).
I have a propane turkey fryer. Am thinking about using that hose on the heater. Pretty sure it's same threads.
If it works my heater will provide extra thrust like a jet engine...right AT?

I figured out what my heater problem was.
Inside the knob are the guts of the valve. A spring is in there I think.
I tried blowing air thru and poking the orifice with a paper clip. Thought I had a spider nest in it because an 18-yr-old kid at Academy Outdoors said that is almost always the problem. Got thinking and how many spiders I seen in January in Arkansas...zero.

The next thing I tried was spraying PB Blaster into the orifice...nope.

So I gave up and was real close to upgrading to the Buddy Heater.
That's when I said hey, maybe if I spray the valve on the outside. PB penetrates.
whalla, she works. Savings? Well over $50 plus travel and wear n tear on the truck.
