Cabelas layout blinds?

Postby farmboy222 » Wed Jan 22, 2014 10:13 pm

I am looking at buying a new layout blind and was looking at the cabelas northern flight ultimate or northern flight lightning set. I was wondering if any of you guys have had any experience with either of these blinds. Thanks in advance for the info

The ultimate is the way to go. Hands down the most comfortable layout that I've ever owned. If I was to buy another it'd be another cabelas ultimate.

I bought a goosebuster lp from Rogers early this winter with the thought there would be geese around for the late season. Haven't hunted out of it yet, but I laid in it in my back yard for a while. Wasn't no lazy boy, but it wasn't uncomfortable. Best part is it was only $90.

I have a Cabela's and it's a great blind for the limited use it's seen. Lots of room and I'm 6'5".

My bro uses a Northern flight, has been a good blind. Folds up well and easy to set up.

I used the Mobile 1 for a few years before upgrading, think I bought it on sale for $79, was a hell of a blind at that price and was still the easiest set up I've ever used.

So many options for different situations. If you're strapped for room in your vehicle look at the folded up size, if you hunt thin cover go with a lower profile blind. It is all about the situation.
